On December 5, Hyundai Steel held a celebration for the Red Angels’ 10th consecutive WK League title at the Gyeongwonjae Ambassador Hotel in Incheon.
The 70 attendees present at the event included Hyundai Steel President & CEO An Tong-il, Managing Director Seo Sang-weon, Manager Kim Eun-sook, and the players and their families.
In commemoration of the championship, all members of the Red Angels received a championship ring and a tablet computer. In addition, Lee Se-eun received an achievement award for her 300th game played, while Lee Min-a and five other players were awarded for their 200th game played. Son Hwa-yeon was recognized for her 100th game played.
“In 2023, the Red Angels will have led women’s football in Korea for three decades,” said CEO An in his congratulatory address. “We shall keep pushing to become not only the best in the country but also the best in the world.”
