Hyundai Steel has launched a new quality enhancement initiative through a technology exchange with Korea Conformity Laboratories (KCL) focused on product testing and analysis. With this agreement, Hyundai Steel aims to bolster its quality management capabilities by collaborating with KCL to support quality assurance testing and analysis. Hyundai Steel will utilize KCL’s Advanced Metals Center as a key testing site, which offers third-party inspection, specimen processing, and quality assurance testing. This collaboration enables Hyundai Steel to maintain stable quality verification, even in emergency situations like equipment malfunctions in the company’s own testing facilities.
Additionally, Hyundai Steel anticipates benefits from streamlined analysis request procedures, reduced specimen analysis costs, and other advantages.
Following the signing, a Hyundai Steel spokesperson remarked, “This MOU will serve as a platform for ongoing technological exchange between the two organizations, contributing to product quality improvement and advancements in testing and analysis technologies.”
