Hyundai Steel Holds 2022 Companywide Meeting on Core Manufacturing Tasks

On January 13, Hyundai Steel held its annual in-house briefing on its core manufacturing targets for 2022.

The 2022 Companywide Meeting on Core Manufacturing Tasks was an opportunity for business divisions and their associated departments to discuss different areas of business cooperation for the implementation of Hyundai Steel’s companywide management strategies.

The meeting was carried out in a hybrid form (consisting of both in-person and contactless elements) and was attended by around 140 Hyundai Steel executives, including President & CEO An Tong-il and the heads of different divisions, departments, and teams.

Following an opening address by Vice President Park Jong-sung who is the head of the Blast Furnace Business Division, the event proceeded with special presentations by guest speakers, the announcement of plans to achieve core tasks by business division heads, and a commentary by the company CEO.

During his commentary, CEO An Tong-il stated that “performing a task is about doing valuable work to produce results,” and further commented that “setting tasks enables each person to focus on their work.”
