Hyundai Steel Celebrates Chuseok With Volunteer Activities

At each of its worksites, Hyundai Steel conducted a number of volunteer activities to commemorate the Chuseok holiday.

Dangjin Integrated Steelworks employees deliver gifts to underprivileged households and welfare facilities in celebration of Chuseok

First, employees of Dangjin Integrated Steelworks carried out a holiday-sharing event at the Dangjin Welfare Town on September 9. Gifts worth approximately KRW 20 million were delivered to more than 400 underprivileged households and welfare facilities in the area. The gifts included local specialties such as Haenaru silchi seaweed, noodles, seaweed, and other food items, as well as daily necessities. Employees personally packed and delivered them to the welfare facilities.

Incheon Works delivers Dong-gu Love Gift Certificates to local welfare facilities to promote mutual support between welfare centers and traditional markets

Meanwhile, Incheon Works employees delivered Dong-gu Love Gift Certificates as part of its Chuseok celebration, with the goal of boosting the local economy in Dong-gu and practicing neighborly love. On the afternoon of September 10, the plant’s staff gifted KRW 1 million worth of Dong-gu Love Gift Certificates to each of 10 local welfare facilities at the Hyundai Market in Dong-gu. The certificates, redeemable at Hyundai Market, are expected to encourage mutual support between welfare centers and the traditional market.

Pohang Works delivers daily necessities for low-income households to Nam-gu Office in Pohang

On September 9, the staff of Pohang Work delivered daily necessities worth KRW 10 million to 250 low-income households at Nam-gu Office in Pohang. In addition, traditional market gift certificates were provided to eight welfare facilities, and daily necessities were distributed to local senior centers.
