Children’s Traffic Safety Challenge

Hyundai Steel President & CEO An Tong-il recently took part in the “Children’s Traffic Safety Challenge,” a campaign conducted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety since last December that is designed to foster a culture of prioritizing children’s safety and to promote public awareness to prevent traffic accidents involving children.

For the event, each participant takes a picture of him or herself holding up a sign with the campaign slogan: “Stop, Look Right and Left, Wait, Keep Safe.”

Then participants upload their pictures to social media and nominate another person to take part in the campaign challenge, raising public interest in children’s traffic safety.

CEO An was nominated by Hyundai Rotem CEO Lee Yong-bae and passed the challenge onto gold medalist Oh Jin-hyeok of the Hyundai Steel Corporate Archery Team.
