The Korean men’s national archery team, one of its members being none other than Hyundai Steel’s own Oh Jin-hyek, earned gold in the men’s team event at the 2020 Tokyo World Sports Competition. The three-man unit won 6-0 in a dominant victory against their Taiwanese counterparts in the gold medal match. This is the Korean men’s national archery team’s second consecutive win since the World Sports Competition in Rio in 2016. Together, the Korean men and women’s national archery teams brought home three gold medals, with the 40-year-old Oh becoming the oldest Korean gold medalist in history.
