The reigning WK League champions, the Red Angels, have signed on midfielder Oh Yeon-hee (28).
Oh Yeon-hee, born in 1994, measures 170 cm in height, making her one of the tallest midfielders in the Korean women’s football league. More importantly, she is known for her ability to cut off her opponents’ attacks from the center and deliver passes to teammates at the right place at the right time.
A veteran player, Oh made her debut in 2015 as part of Suwon FMC (now Suwon FC Women) and since 2020 had been a key player for Sejong Sportstoto WFC.
“Oh Yeon-hee brings a strong presence to the midfield with her ball-handling skills and ability to control the game,” a Red Angels spokesperson said. “She will be a great asset in helping us become league champions again in the 2023 season.”
