“Reward Training” for Outstanding Overseas Employees

Hyundai Steel invited 23 outstanding employees from overseas corporations to participate in a seven-day training program from October 16 to 22.

This training was conducted to improve their knowledge of steel through a tour of the production, steel processing and vehicle manufacturing facilities in Korea. It also served to improve the timing and understanding of work methods by experiencing Korean culture.

The training program was well received by the participants for its in-depth quality and safety training, which included a visit to the Century Safety Culture Center and a cold-rolling laboratory, while giving the participants a greater opportunity to participate in practical exercises and experiences.

The outstanding employees not only toured Dangjin Integrated Steelworks, Hyundai’s vehicle plant in Asan and the Coil Center, but also visited the Hyundai Motorstudio and nearby Korean palaces.
