Hyundai Steel held a kick-off briefing session for the third stage of PI TFT on March 17, where the commencement of Stage 3 was announced, along with its future objectives, directions, and detailed plans.
Stage 3 of Hyundai Steel’s process innovation will unfold over the next 25 months through stages of detailed design, system development, testing, and stabilization. Hyundai Steel will be joining forces with Hyundai AutoEver and other partners to achieve the goal of “the creation of a management system focused on customer value and profitability.” On this day, President & CEO Ahn Tong-il stressed that PI must enable Hyundai Steel to internalize the paradigm shift of increasing future competitiveness and sustainability by establishing optimized modes of operation. Formed in 2018, Hyundai Steel’s PI TFT has been optimizing the company’s management system through in-house innovation. The briefing session was a pledge of the company’s commitment to a successful project.
